While the game left some stories open for more down the road, Insomniac Games has addressed whether Spider-Man 2 will get any story DLC. Other big fixes include fixing a crash that happened while quitting Spider-Man 2 too quickly after starting it and another that involved a crash that would happen on quadcore processors after turning ray tracing on. It’s already a great-looking game, though now that it is on PC, players will likely want to push Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to its limits. This new update works to make this possible, with another fix addressing an annoying issue with brightness, contrast, and other visual effects that caused them to reset. As of the PC release of Spider-Man 2 in 2025, these DLC suits are free for all players on both PS5 and PC.

In reality, Harry had secretly bonded with the Venom symbiote, which hid within Harry’s body, with its origin revealed to be from a meteorite recovered by Oscorp years prior. They are unlocked automatically from story progress (unmissable) and by buying them from Peter’s skill tree. It’s also advisable to buy the upgrades from Peter’s skill tree that improve these abilities. All abilities have a timed recharge that refills automatically over time.
